What i've learned from this sad community about Skin Concepts.

Don't you dare click out of this just because its a paragraph long basically.

Concepts... are a weird topic They seem to follow a few rules for people to notice them 1: Length I've made countless paragraph or two long concepts, hours upon hours thinking about it, yet they get quickly overshadowed by the people who make concepts with a few words, or an RP art picture. [Examples Being my Shuriman Malzahar or Battlecast General Malzahar.] The easiest way for people to actually pay attention is for concepts to be short, and right to the point. From what i have seen you can't say

Well, the concept would be [Champ], wearing a ???? with ???? on the ????.

They only seem to listen if you say ??? will wear a ?????

This is odd because I'd assume people would want your skin to be as descriptive as possible, and even though it gets views people will tend to click out because they'd rather not read a large concept. 2: Art

I've made concepts very well-thought out, with little to no comments on each of them. I tried making a concept with art (Which was my Computer Virus Nocturne) [Still really bad MS PAINT tracing] and i got a few comments on it fairly fast. So you need to add art onto it, even if it's bad, for anyone to even bother clicking on it.

This is also strange because it means people are just clicking on things because people put a drawing on it, and not actually looking through all of the concepts

3: Popularity The most noticed ones depend on the Popularity of the champions. Selecting champions with a higher popularity will likely get your skin noticed A decent example is my Candy Cane Thresh concept, where it got quite a few comments for being related to thresh.

But this promotes sticking with the pack and ignoring other champions.

I really don't know why the community acts like this towards concepts, since concepts i make on skins tend to go unseen for months, and eventually are just buried even when i put my heart and soul into creating these.

I just wanted to share my experiences with these concepts, so other people won't end up falling into the same pits as me.
