Preliminaries.. what's the point

I went 5/5 in my prelims, not great but not bad considering the afks, griefers, etc you can end up with.

But 5 out of 5 was only good enough to get me Bronze 5!?

I mean, fine, I was Bronze 1 last season, put me in Bronze, I'll suffer through it again.
But I don't think 5/5 is deserves the very bottom of the entire ranking system.

Silver 5 last season. 8-2 on Prelims.. And I got B5 but the good news is it should be easy to climb out of since we have already. :)
