Open Letter to Riot: Established game company vs new game company

Dear Riot, A new player in the gaming industry which introduces competition from stagnate, established game competition is absolutely fantastic for gamers. We are so so happy about it, and will deal with some truly profound inconvenience just to inspire the entire industry to innovate and make better games. The quantity of bugs everyone tolerated in this spirit, sadly remain.

It's no longer a new company. There is no longer a funds shortage. Riot is a major player with major resources. However, game bugs and client bugs continue and remain unfixed for months on end.

The new client is ridiculous. I cannot add bots. I can't spectate games. If I want to do anything I used to be able to do, I have the extra step of clicking "launch legacy client" which I have like a 30% chance not outright crashing.

This is amateur. This is unprofessional. This is disrespectful to your customers that believed you when you said "when we have more resources, we will fix it and make it better."

You have the resources. Please take the development time necessary to cease these ridiculous bugs rather than churn out a new champion you have to fix and balance.

Please. Pretty please. This trend is untenable.

Sincerely,

  • Your customers.
