Question about Master's lp Decay / Rewards. PLEASE HELP.

I am approaching masters tier with about 3 weeks left in the season. I know it is very easy to drop back to Diamond 1 after entering Master's tier. I have two questions if someone could answer I would very much appreciate.

  1. If I attain Master's tier and drop back to D1 just before season ends will I get Master's border?

  2. How does decay work in Master's tier? I read that if you play 3 games and go below 0 you drop back to D1. How long can I not play before it drops me back to D1. I do not want to take this route but I may be too worried to play.

I'm in the same boat.

  1. If you play 3 games then hit 0 LP you lose it(it's not like other divisions where you hit 0lp, then have to lose on 0lp).
  2. You decay every 10 days. If you hit masters and want to sit on it, season ends nov 10th i think, so you have time just to play once every 10 days and not lose it. (inactive 9 days, play 1, rinse and repeat)
