I used to think Platinum/Diamond was elo heaven

Was on such a roll from Plat 4 to plat 2 98 points. I think I won about 9 games in a row with yi. Then shit hits the fan. I had to dodge kayle adc, cv/revive teemo, 500 game shaco who had his shaco banned and said we unleashed his inner troll so he picks janna smite. AFK blitz because of FB. GP who runs into turrets at lvl 1. Double jungle ranger lee sin. 16 deaths at 15 minute bot lane. (Yes I keep track). Went from 98 points to 0 and I have been losing games at 0 so my good mmr is probably down the shitter. Back when I was silver I looked up to this elo and thought it was supposed to be elo heaven. No such thing exists (maybe in gold which in my opinion I had the best time in). Welp, 6 days left. Doubt I will even attempt to hit diamond for that beautiful border. Shame that all my hard work gets blown away due to some trolls/bad games. It's not a matter of if I can carry by myself anymore. In this elo people know how to shut you down. So you end up relying on your team more.

I went from Silver II to Bronze IV (just lost my Bronze III rank). I get that at this low of elo it's suppose to be hell getting out of, but I've lost 11 out of my 12 games, none of them were good, evenly matched games. Even if the team didn't have random disconnects or bullshit interruptions like in one game our ADC afk'd because he "had to talk to his family," I'm stilled paired with 4 other players that feed hard

I'm not a pro. Sometimes I do bad, but I was Silver II.. I have a basic grasp of how to properly play the game, you know? On this boards when a player complains about their team losing them the game, the boards respond with "Do better yourself, carry your team." When you talk about having a high k/d/a, or even just having low deaths/high cs/high gold, and still losing, the boards say "It's a team game, cant expect to win it by yourself." Truthfully, the latter is correct, sometimes a hyper carry can lower the skill the rest of the team needs to win, but mostly everyone needs to work together, focus on objectives, and not rogue out.

And I swear it feels like something is throwing me into a team of people who are famous for running in circles, chasing kills while the other team backdoors (usually with me trying to stem the damage, but ending in getting turret dived and needing to escape and they take the turret anyway), and all around not focusing on vision, cs, and objectives. Just statistically.. how likely is it that you're paired with 11 teams that play like they just opened their account? I can understand if the other team is equally disorganized and making mistakes, but of course not, we always go against the most organized, grouped team the game has to offer.
