I just don't know how to act anymore...

It seems like no matter what mentality I go into a game with I always leave with a report, that little window popping up being like, "your behavior wasn't blah blah.." Now to be clear I haven't actually been banned, I'm sure it's because 90% of the times this pops up it's most obviously a false report however it seems that the combination of being a decent player and not being someone to take s*** from people leads to me being reported no matter what I do. I've literally gone in games where the little window will pop-up saying, "+2 Honorable opponent +2 friendly +1 teamwork" then not 2 seconds later a window pops up, "your recent beha..." Anyways, you get the idea.

So, point of this post, what am I doing wrong and what are my risks of actually getting banned just from playing the game? I've literally gone through games, carried and played well, we win the game, get honors, receive reported message about behavior, all without EVER saying anything in chat. I'm honestly trying my best to be a positive influence on the league community. I don't rage at people, I don't troll, I don't play the 'blame game', whenever I suggest something I always back it up (ex. Other team is all AP and shen is stacking armor. I politely say, "Shen, may want to try getting some Magic Resist, they're all magic damage. Would help a lot."), and most importantly I don't ignore my own faults, if I mess up I joke about it and normally point it out like, "oh hey, jumping into 5 people as cait MAY have been a bad idea... lol" (NOTE : I don't actually do that, just an example). And sure, someone will point out, "you've been toxic before!" and, well, I have and I'm not proud of it but it sure as hell isn't every game. Add to this the last time I was TRUELY toxic, as in straight up complete jerk mode because everyone else on the team was raging at me for having 10 less farm as marksman than the other marks, I didn't even get the report message.. X.x (Probably because everyone else was already hyper toxic, I don't know how the system works so meh..)

So, yeah. Any tips on not getting people just raging at me and instead actually get something constructed from this overly toxic community? How do I carefully give advice? I've tried talking 1 to 1 peer style like, "Dude, try some MR" and the baby talk of, "MR reduces the magic damage they do to you, if you build some MR you can tank for a lot longer and win us the game. Please and thank you! =^.^=". What about dealing with toxics that no matter what they rage and rage without any end. For now I've been muting them but is there a better solution? Whenever I try calming them down it just backfires and they shoot out insults like the classic 12 year old card, "kill urself". Like, really? I mean, I've thought about it but I don't think that would win us the game... Anyways...

League is super fun and I've enjoyed it for many years now but I'm at a point in my life I just don't want to deal with toxics anymore, there's enough drama with racist uncles and bats*** crazy ex', but I would hate to ditch one of my favorite games. Suggestions?

Sorry that things aren't going well. It is hard for anyone here to tell you whether or not these were false reports filed against you by lying players. It seems like you're a decent guy judging from this post, but then again there have been plenty of examples where banned players have sweetly and politely explained the false ban they were hit with, only for it to come out later that they were absolutely horrible to their fellow players (racial slurs, death threats, etc.).

I wish I had better advice, but honestly I think the best thing you can do is start recording your games. You can use free software like OBS to do it. This will allow you to go back and review what was actually said rather than relying on your memory, and will also allow you to share the actual chat from your games in case you're ever trying to get support from the community.

The warnings might lead to a ban/restriction or they might turn out to be nothing. If you are concerned about receiving punishment, the best thing you can do is simply type less. Limit yourself to just saying things that are directly relevant to winning the game, and always remember that complete silence is a perfectly acceptable response to anything that anyone could possibly say to you, even if they say it directly to you.
