When Will Riot Learn?

So before you read this, if you are willing to read it, then maybe go look at my other post about how to view friends list on website, because even on client you cant view all of your friends offline anymore. Least I can't.

And yes, for further reading, plenty of random accounts that were banned get unbanned, and yes there has been a few cases where an account suddenly received like 2000 rp. yes that happens.

All these downvotes because my post does not suck the meat of RIot. Are you all truly brainwashed slaves, that you cannot even criticize your own company? Well most schools in my country teach people to obey authority WITHOUT critique or question. Slavery. I still blame you however. You are still contributing to the problem. Even if you are not completely to blame.

When will riot learn? You can't expect people to have integrity, not cuss, or quit, when the game is rated 12 and up. which means plenty of 12 years olds are playing. RIot expects that? If Riot paid me to play sure, i'll never quit...but are you going to punish people for leaving? Did they really expect a game rated 12+ to never quit this free game? Are games not for fun? it doesn't make it fun. Maybe they could be like most games and allow other people to join and take that summoner's place when they leave. But it's clear they've got some close minded scum at Riot as their most famous league supporter, Dunkey, recently just quit the game. Were talking about the same guy that takes its virtual meaningless ranking system so seriously, it bans people (apparently) for using smurf accounts?

What will it take to change things? A million players refusing to play until they make changes? I mean its not hard to find out who's in charge of these decisions and their home address and send them a letter or at least email them. And why are there these people who's account randomly get unbanned? What do you guys think? IT just really doesn't make any sense that a game with such a young age rating expect people to play the game like their getting paid to do it. Soryr, but unless Riot pays me, im not going to play with a smile on my face and never ever afk even for a minute,. It's a game, much bigger things in life.

And I think sooner or later, this company is going to crumble because of this. It's back to consoles and steam then. perhaps other MOBAS that don't operate like communist dictatorship....They're policies dont make any sense, And if they ban you, they should be legally obligated to refund the money you spent on the game.

Let's be real. It's adults who are acting like children that are the problem, not actual children.

You already posted this, and it got removed. Least of all for how flagrantly wrong it is

Wut.

Overall, I have no idea where you're going with this thread. You're talking a lot about being paid to play but also about how lots of young people play this game, and something about accounts getting randomly unbanned (this doesn't happen)? I'm going to assume the following comment is the core of the thread:

but are you going to punish people for leaving?

Yes. There is no scenario in which allowing people to leave a game with no consequences is acceptable unless everyone in the game agrees to it. This is a team game, so leaving during play is basically trashing the experience of the other 4-9 players in the game.

This has nothing to do with age or getting paid to play, it's a simple social contract scenario. When you queue up for a game, the expectation of everyone else in that game is that you will be fully engaged in the experience. Leaving in the middle is a direct breach of this social contract, and maturity is not a factor when it comes to people reporting you for ruining their experience.

I'm sorry, but you don't decide what morality and maturity are.

RIOT can't either, but they can at least try to keep peace without establishing what those are.

EDIT: Also don't compare this to communism until you actually know what communism is. People ALWAYS think that communism is this hell-on-earth that takes away everyone's rights. No, it doesn't. Communism is a government that seeks equal rights for everyone, with everyone getting their fair share of something. Because of this, there is no lower class (poor people) and there are no monopolies (big companies that get all the money), which are the most major downsides of a capitalist government. We just focus on the communist nations that had power-hungry dictators, like Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia, and so we generalize about communism. There are good examples of communism, like modern-day China, modern-day Vietnam, and Russia after the revolution (but before Stalin's reign, who by the way, was MUCH worse than Hitler).

Hmmm so having a diamond smurf hitting lvl 30 amongst new people that don't know anything about the game is ok... Fuck that bull shit. The reason you get downvoted is your post makes you seem like a social justice warrior... And everyone HATES THEM because they are self entitled and feel they know better than everyone.

Instead of flat out attacking a company on something they cannot figure out how to fix, why don't you put your smart ass on the line, because you act like you know everything pal. But your idea is to boycott, which isn't gonna happen anytime soon. Because as long as a meta has a pool of broken champs that can't all be banned away with 6 bans, people will play to reap the cheap unfair advantages that inevitably occurs.

As a consumer we have the right to say when we are not happy, aka the reason why LeeSin Riven and Vayne will never be nerfed or changed due to there loyal large fanbases that blow a fuse the second 3ad is removedVayne, I'm talking to your still broken ass. And there idea to leach every last thing for rp is also dumb. But riot isn't to blame, but the shareholders of riot games are. But the sounds, music rito puts together is some of the best quality stuff ever, kindred login, and the new slayers are amazing.

I can't take anything you say on this thread seriously ! For one thing you don't send letters like this to Home address' that comes close to personal harassment lol Careful here your stepping on some questionable advice you seem to be giving.

They're policies dont make any sense, And if they ban you, they should be legally obligated to refund the money you spent on the game.

This game is made so no one has to spend one red cent on it. If you don't want to have the things you spent your $ on taken away don't break the TOS..Fairly simple concept here.

Not sure what your point is here but Riot isn't 'crumbling' at all.
