TL;DR Br0ken Feasts is my Platinum 5 friend who has taught me everything that i know about this game. I learn stuff from him every time we play, but since he plays with his bronze friends to have fun instead of being a try hard every game, he got banned for ELO boosting. Hoping for a response from a Rioter because all Br0ken got was a automated robot answer that said "We know you did this but were not going to show you our proof." What is to stop this from happening to him again or to stop it from getting anyone else? Stop the madness. #freeBr0kenFeasts

Hello esteemed board members,

Two days ago, my friend (a god among men) Br0ken feasts, was abruptly kicked from our ranked teams lobby and banned for MMR boosting. This morning by 11AM EST, i have already seen 2-3 other people posting about wrongful MMR boosting bans. Maybe there's a problem here?

ALL of the people who have been "wrongfully" accused, were at some level of platinum. Plat 5 for Br0ken. Interesting

After spending a month straight climbing to plat 5, trying as hard as he possibly can, he stops playing ranked to play normals and ranked teams with our "ranked team". (Just 5-10 bronze legends, 2 gold's and Br0ken)

On this ranked team, he is no doubt our best player, but he doesn't try anywhere near his hardest, (unless we call him out) I have seen Br0ken get a Penta kill playing Rengar midlane just because someone told him he was bad. (Turned on the gas boys) Why would he? We're all "bronze" (bad) and don't even listen to our shot caller half the time.

The reason i think Riot banned him, is because he consistently had scores like 17-5-5 (always jungling) on champions like Rengar and Ekko in his climb from gold to plat. And since he plays with us bronzies, he lets us choose roles and fills around us; playing god knows what because we are not challenger.

Note : I WAS IN CURSE VOICE WITH HIM WHILE HE PLAYED THESE PLACEMENT GAMES, and that is how i learned the ways of the Rengar.

In addition to all of this, why would someone (br0ken feasts) who is 100% capable of getting himself into Platinum, have his account boosted?

He owns EVERY SKIN IN THE GAME. ill say that one more time. EVERY. SKIN. IN. THE. GAME. (Pax jax : no | Pax TF: no | Pax sivir: yes) You're telling me that someone who spent upwards of $5,000 on this game, would do something to stupid as to be boosted from Gold 5 to Plat 5?

Of the two golds on my friends list, one is gold 5 the other was just demoted from gold 2 to gold 3, i wouldn't rank either of them higher than br0ken feasts in terms of mechanical skill or game-knowledge.

In fact, i have probably 250 lee sin games since S5 jungle was released (a champion who br0ken never plays) and i would not bet on myself in a 1v1. (I beat a diamond 4 zed as bronze 1 lee sin). I was confident against a Diamond 4 zed because br0ken was in our coms.

Is everyone in Plat made of NaCL? I can only imagine people reporting their whole team for being boosted when they lose. Everybody makes mistakes, everybody has those games. P.S. This is my first Discussion so lay it on me.

All I know is, I've been playing for almost two years, First season i placed B5, got to b3, dropped to B5, then finally got to silver 5 after about 180games with a negative ratio, i then took a break from ranked because i was losing my mind playing the game. Since then i have become good friends with Br0ken. I'm current Silver 4 with maybe 80 games played, and i will say that playing with him definitely made me better, when I wasn't playing with him i was either spectating him, or he was spectating me and telling me on who,what,when,where,why and how to improve on said situation. When we don't play together i'm probably spectating him, and laughing at some of the plays that go on, or hell explain why he did some things and or whatever. Also I know hes military, The difference from him being at work, vs him being with his family is night and day, on one hand you have screaming children, on the other you have some funny comercials in japanese. Br0ken isn't a cheater, hes invested too much into the game to risk it for a stupid rank. I personally think if he wasn't playing on his crap connection he'd be making a splash in low diamond.

that's going to be a problem if they compare normal games to ranked. I specifically play different positions or champs I don't main in normals so my performance would naturally not be up to my ranked standards.

I don't care about mmr/eloboosting I enjoy when I play someone better because I see tactics and little things that they did that I didn't do but ya ive been seeing some interesting things about people getting banned

Just looked at his match history... it's almost laughable how obvious it is. Unless he like, lost an arm a month ago or something? (No offense intended toward those who are missing limbs).

He looked to be having pretty expected/average results for a long time. A few good games where he carried with 10+ kills, but those were pretty rare. Liked playing Rengar, but had very mixed results with him. He was stagnant at Gold 5 for a long time.

Suddenly, August hits, and there's a huge string of matches where he's getting tons of kills, fairly often up into the 20's, with much higher KDA than any of his play leading up to that point. Basically constantly playing jungle Rengar or Ekko, and dominating every game. Also, lots of huge success with jungle Fizz, where that wasn't seen much before (at least played close to that effectively). Even the losses in this period, he's got a much better record than his average prior to this time frame. Oh yeah, and these were the games that got him to Plat 5, from Gold 5.

These games suddenly stop on 8/13, along with the huge success. Rengar disappears completely, when he'd previously been dominating with it (why stop so suddenly?). It looks like he tried to play the jungle Ekko and Fizz like the booster did for him, but failed miserably. He's only won 4 of 22 games since the boosting. The champion spread he's been playing looks more similar to what it did before he was boosted. And both his overall win record and his in-game stats make it clear that he's totally out-matched at this higher MMR.

Hate to tell you this, but your friend is a pretty obvious case of boosting. And he's not a Plat 5 player, either.
