How easy is it to demote a league/tier?

I just reached reached Plat V and I feel pretty accomplished with myself, and of course I'm having the fear of possibly demoting back to Gold if I keep losing. How easy is it to demote back to Gold if you keep losing? I heard your MMR would have to be really low to demote a tier. Like for Plat V, to demote to Gold you'd have to have Gold V MMR. Is that true?

Pretty easy. Like he said, you have 3 loss protection.

If you lose all 3, I'd say you will be demoted if you lose 1 or 2 more at 0lp.

Only way is to win, at least to the point that your mmr matches your division. Otherwise it'll be pretty easy to demote even after only 1 loss at 0lp.
