If you really think about it it would work. Xbox & playstation just need tomake compatible keyboards and a mouse. Bam problem solved. Also lol is comp only. So people that get the console version would need to make a league account and link it to their psn or xbl account. That way it dosnt matter what console you have, you and your frends can play. Correct me if im wrong but ps4 has skype as well as the xbox one . So bang, you can communicate like that. It WOULD work. But i dont see why its not happening. I love league, I just cant buy a uber awsome comp. Plus for some people its more cnveinient (excuse the spelling). RITO MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!!!!

Requiring additional hardware a game system doesn't originally come with has pretty awful track record. More console-side than game-side, but either way the market is considerably lower when you're talking about a very specific combination of hardware.

Also - why use a keyboard and mouse to play a console game? Seems to defeat the entire purpose of using a console. Not that playing on a wide-screen TV wouldn't be cool, but still. When you think consoles you think their swanky controls, not keyboard and mouse.

Of course League would work on consoles! Even without a keyboard a mouse. Lord of The Rings: Guardians of Middle Earth works fine on the PS3.

...Why. I think that's the only real question here.

Why bother creating League for consoles if you plan to have players use PC peripherals? Just...play on PC. It would be far more efficient for them to create a communication system on the existing game than to create an entirely new LoL for console use.

You don't need an uber computer to play League of Legends, by the way; you can easily build a computer for the same price as consoles that equals them in performance if not being superior. I put about $1,800 into my current computer 4 years ago and it's still rocking 200 FPS maxed out in League, so I think you can manage 60 fps with a (relative) potato.
