what the title says.. i just feel like 14 days is quite a strong ban for only one game of decent toxicity.. plus the evelynn was way more toxic than i was that game.

If you're punished for toxicity, it's never for a single incidence. You've been toxic in the past, and reported for that. This just happened to be the game that triggered the actual punishment. Use the 14 days to reconsider your attitude and stop being a baby in games.

honestly can not say i've been toxic any other game. obviously my point seems biased because im defending myself but it takes a lot of effort out of me to really get enraged at someone. this evelynn in particular that game really was pushing me to my limits and that was the ONLY game i was toxic. I would love for Riot to even send me conversations of other times i've been "toxic" because i doubt riot could even do that.

Actually Riot does that all the time. Next time Lyte's on the forums, ask him to review your logs. He routinely smites people like you who think they're in the right, only to provide logs that prove otherwise. Just be careful, manual reviews of logs that determine the punishment wasn't sufficient can result in a worse punishment. The system always ers on the "go easy on people" side to prevent unfair punishments, so you're far more likely to get an extended punishment than a reduced one. I think there's only been like 1 or 2 cases (out of thousands) that Lyte has agreed "okay, the system got it wrong" and removed/reduced the punishment for.

thats the thing.. i do admit that i was extremely toxic that one game, but honestly my behavior overall doesnt reason for a 14 day ban lol but whatever. like you said, they might extend it which is kinda dumb so ill just let riot do their thing lmfao...

Well as long as you're not toxic again, this'll be your only ban, so just take it easy for a couple of weeks. Maybe learn how to meditate, that can help with toxicity, or so I've heard.

Mainly because these posts are really boring. Lyte has had many "smite" threads in the past where he checks literally everyone who feels they have an unfair ban and posts in that thread, and they all get proven wrong. All of them had similar arguments to OP. The chances of someone being a special snowflake exception in this system is pretty much 0.

Maybe when they first introduced the new punishment system a year ago it was possible when they hadn't adjusted the learning algorithms correctly yet, but the false positives are low enough to basically guarantee that OP is either lying or forgetting other toxic incidences.

The system lets a lot of extremely toxic people go scot-free to ensure innocent people aren't false-positive punished. OP deserves his punishment. It wasn't just one incidence of toxicity like he claims.

Post the logs sent with the ban, and I'll gladly look over it to tell you what I think.

But, honestly? It usually takes rather more than a single game to build a case, much less punish one.
