How might I tell if i'm blocked?

So i'm speaking with a friend and they apparently go offline mid chat, even though they are in game. I check the offline friends, and rather than saying they are simply offline, their name is a dark grey. Does this mean they blocked me?

if you are blocked they wont be on your friend list. I'm pretty sure it unadds you when you block someone.
