Hey everyone! Turns out Nintendo is opening up to the public for ideas on who to include in Smash! So I say, who better to join the brawl/melee/destruction than the Loose Cannon herself!

Armed with her trusty guns Zapper, Pow-Pow and the ever dower Fishbones; Jinx would be sure to wreak havoc on every stage! Possible moves include:

  • Zap! enemies from long range!
  • Channeling all of Pow-Pow's might into a continuous stream of lead poisoning!
  • Falling off the stage? No worries! Just ride good old Fishbones back into the action!
  • Pesky melee champs all up in your grill? Good thing Jinx brought some Chompers to set em' straight!
  • Final Smash? More like Final BOOM! Riding a SMDR onto your enemies has never felt so sweet!

So what says you GD? Can we can everyone's* favorite crazy lady into Nintendo's biggest brawler?!? I think I speak for both myself and Fishbones when I say that maybe there are more suitable champions out there and that there is no way Riot would- HA! Just kidding!

Screw the rules! Vote Jinx!

*Not Fathands or Hat Lady. But they are boring anyway so who cares?!

SSB already has plenty of melee fighters. Lee Sin is just too boring of a choice!

With his pick rate? Isn't he overly popular enough?

Why can't we have a decent, moderately popular champion than the overhyped, 200% bonus AD scaling no-cost low cd ultimate Lee Sin?

Jokes aside, I seriously think we better choices. Jinx is hilariously fun, while Lee is... boring. If anything, I'd say we could go with Lulu or Annie.

Wait, why exactly would you NOT pick one of the most popular and known character of a game to represent in Smash? Because you're bitter from the over saturation of Lee Sin? I'm sorry, I don't like him either, but any of our popular melees would be better representatives than Jinx, Annie, or Lulu.

Hell, Garen is the best pick purely for Demacia.

I was going to type Garen, but I picked out the champions that are loved by the fanbase not just for their gameplay.

Totally forgot Garen, though. Can you imagine his taunt? He hides in a bush, and whispers "Demacia... Demacia... Demacia..."

agreed. but even wukong, tryndamere, katarina or xin zao would make better champions for that game. at least make it someone of the earliest champions, who has been around for a long time and is one of the more iconic characters.

edit.: as long as it isnt teemo though.

I actually debated this in my head a bit. (Vi was my first choice.)

My thinking was: The champ needs to be iconic/popular, not due for a remake anytime soon, and not too similar to existing Smash characters. Vi is essentially Little Mac, so she was out (sorry Fathands!). And the last thing Smash needs is more characters with swords, so Tyrnd, Garren and Yi are out. Teemo is almost League's mascot at this point, but his moves would make next to no sense in such a kinetic setting.

Looking at champs recently featured in LoL media gives us other good options like Graves, Kat, Rengar, Ahri, Annie, Leona, Amumu, Twisted Fate and Jinx. A cat-man, fox woman or mummy child might not be the best picks for Leagues first cross over though; so I settled on human champs.

Smash already has a dagger throwing ninja woman, and Leona suffers the same sword problem as everyone else.

These leaves us with Graves, Twisted Fate and Annie. As far as Annie goes, I just don't see Tibbers being able to work in Smash (unless they functioned like the Pokemon Trainer?) so she was iffy. Twisted Fate could work, but I feel he's a bit too mysterious to have the personality to mix it up with the likes of Jigglypuff and Mario. And Graves? Well if you're just going to put a gun character in there it might as well be Jinx!

spreading the cancer that is jinx to other games? nope.

besides, shes still too recent to have developed into an iconic character of the game. id rather vote for jax or yi or alistar. at least someone of the original 40 or the earliest champions.

If Nintendo were to include a League champion in SSB, which they won't, they would use Katarina or Ryze; the two long-established 'mascots' of League of legends.

My problem with Ryze is he's sort of a "what?" character. What is he? What does he do? Thematically he's kinda all over the place.

And Kat would just play too similar to Sheik, sadly. :-/
