How do you motivate yourself to play ranked?

I want to play ranked i can never get the motivation to ever want to do it. How do you guys do it?

It's a more serious version of normals. I like playing with people that actually try to win! That way I don't deal with the "whatever, it's a normal" if some random feels like trying something goofy (and terrible).

I also tend to watch some LCS if i am having some bad matches.

The "you're going to decay in ranked" message is what motivates me. Also duo queueing takes the edge off and lets someone else motivate you for a while.
