The Grade Rating system makes no sense

I don't understand why I got an "A" rank. I did terrible the entire game. There will be games where I could do pretty good and get a "B-"

It compares you to other players that played that champion in that role, on CS, K/D/A, wards, etc. So if other players regularly do incredibly on a champion, your good performance might get you a B. If other players are terrible, then a terrible performance could get you an A.
What do u mean u did terrible? U have 15 assists. Your farm is decent. You probably participated in objective taking.
what has your grade to do with the ranking system? you dont get more lp when you have a higher grade
