I've recently starting playing LoL again and it seems like the amount of cringeworthy hypersensitive people has gone up significantly since I quit. I've been reported my past 3 games for simply calling shots and instructing my team on which objectives to push when they are all over the map. I don't personally attack anyone for their play-style or mistakes, because it usually doesn't help.

I've also noticed people will report others for trash talking, when that's a part of any sport. Even for saying shit like "Haha easy game" afterwards.

Seriously, are we all in middle school again? Are you people that sensitive that you can't handle banter? Were you raised by a single mother or something?

It's pretty annoying and really takes the fun out of the game when you can't even use the chatbox without getting reported. So, like I said in the title, if you are that sensitive to where you can't handle interacting with other human beings, use the mute button.

If you were pinging, and then asking for a specific strategy in chat, you wouldn't get reported. You were typing some far more toxic things than you're willing to admit. Or you are so twisted in your own toxicity that you think it's normal to rage and flame at random people over a video game, in which case you have no idea what you're doing (kind of like how sociopaths don't feel, and mentally handicapped people can murder but not understand what happened).

Honestly I haven't seen you interact with anyone in a positive way in this whole discussion. If you really want to fight the reports ask a rioter to review your case. I haven't seen a good Lyte smite in a long time. Try being nice to people instead of being standoffish and rude maybe you won't get reported.

Guessing by your calling players children I assume you old enough to know how to speak to people and respect them. Show some respect to earn it (that includes people trusting you)

im 100% sure that the game is for 13+ which means teenagers will play the game you need to learn how to not be toxic and act like just because something doesnt affect you doesnt mean it wont affect them grow up youre almost definitly 16-24

I believe that you are a Hippocrate in saying that people are incapable of having a discussion. Even if these people are calling you names part of growing up is learning to take the high road. I could have put some snarky remarks in my previous comment but I decided against it.

And holy blanket statements. You seem alittle close minded my friend.

Secondly this game isn't rated mature its not like call of duty which is rated 17+ but this is rated teen. That means that anyone over the age of 13 is technically allowed to play this game. While I do agree that a majority of this community act childish at times I try and treat everyone regardless of how they treat me with some respect. Lead by example and try and see some change. If people are really flaming people usually I just make a joke out of it.

If you aren't treating everyone with respect you've turned 1 toxic person into 2 and 2 wrongs dont make a right.

Trash talking is when you try to get in someone's head during the game to affect their play. Taunting after you win is just being a disrespectful jerk.

I saw that. But a lot of people don't THINK they're attacking others, but they really are. People often have a strange level of selective memory regarding what they say and don't realize the way they're coming across. People don't report for polite discourse, people only report when you're being a jerk about it. Now tone is fairly hard to read online, so it could just be them misinterpreting your communication style... but typically people who say "I don't do 'x'" really ARE doing 'x' but they just don't see what they're doing as 'x'.

Just because something can be said doesn't mean it should. Even jokes can be hurtful. People don't always interpret others' intentions/meaning accurately 100% of the time. Being sensitive to others is the first step to understanding one another.

No actually, she's an incredibly intelligent and caring woman. The fact that you associate feminism negatively proves that you have a narrow viewpoint. Not all feminists are the "waving burning bras" type. Feminism is just the recognition that society doesn't treat females equally currently.

You only don't filter your words online... because not filtering your words in person will get you fired, expelled, etc... we all have thoughts that we don't say. That's just being a part of society. Mind you, I imagine judging by your rather immature naming choice, you're probably 16-17 years old and probably haven't had much experience with real life.

Please don't use sports as an excuse for toxic actions---time after time pro sports and college (and others) are cranking down on sportsmanship and language. League allows way worse stuff then sports these days... And Yes I can prove it provide you links and such I just don't really need to.

That excuse is growing very thin indeed.

The Mute button is there to help certain people in certain circumstances and NOT a button for people to use as another excuse to be Rude !!! There is nothing wrong with being sensitive and much wrong with being a jerk to teammates, and I am not saying you are doing so but it certainty comes off like you might have a problem yourself.
