Regarding DaoPay payment method for South-African users
I am going to give you the tl;dr before my rant:
** It's a ripoff.**
No seriously, R75 for 190 Riot Points? For my foreign friends, 75 South-African rands equates to slightly more than 4 Euros (4.33 according to google's currency converter). To put this into perspective, 5 Euros nets you 750 RP .
I understand that DaoPay makes money by charging handling fees, so naturally the prices would be different ... but ... don't you think that reduction is a bit excessive? Before DaoPay we had Boku , which boasted much more reasonable prices (with the acceptable trade-off of no bonus RP). I would really like to know why Riot, or their dark overlords, made this switch. Do they have a pony made of diamond residing in their offices? Do they have to feed it purple space rock to keep it alive? DOES IT POOP RAINBOWS?
I think many South-Africans would agree with me when I say: Bring back boku! Or at least sell Pre-paid cards here...
Slayer, Out.
