I think it'd be pretty neat because if someone wanted a victorious skin for a champion they weren't there for, didn't get to gold in time, etc. they have a chance to get it still. Would anything be wrong with this?
Well as much as I would love to have the victorious Janna skin, I don't think it's right. The skins from past seasons are rewarded to the player who played then. They would mean much less if you could just grab the season 2 skin in season 7. People that played then would be upset and you could not difference them anymore. I always respect people with victorious janna, because she used to be my main and I'm a bit sad that I didn't play when you could obtain her. Having the possibility to just choose it 5 years later would feel wrong.
I would like something like this as it would give me an incentive to play rank. The only problem is what about the people who already own all the skins? i mean its not really fair to give people who just started playing or who may have missed a chance, but the people who have been here and playing/getting gold+ this wouldnt really do anything for them!
i think if u finish diamond+ you should get all the victorious skins. This way there is increased incentive beyond the gold mark :)
You could do that, but just with 20XX afterwards, like how the championship Riven skin(with a few tweaks) was made purchasable. But that'd be annoying to maintain by Riot.
