Counter play

I have seen a lot of complaints about champs being imbalanced as I'm sure you have every time you look at the front page of the boards. I think that one of the biggest reasons for this should be about counter play. A champion like zed before they needed his ult to have a second cooldown on his ult, it would be a near impossible matchup for champs like ori who can't land her ult anymore if the zed is 6. now though, the zed has to be more careful if he initiates with his ult. now there is counterplay in the matchup. Riot has implemented a lot of counterplay in their recent balance changes. The other thing is that people have been complaining about seeing lots of vaynes in solo queue, but if you have longer range or higher damage, she can't do much. If a popular champ counters your main, then learn the matchup. Being able to win a hard matchup against someone who doesn't know what they are doing is fairly easy if you are good enough, but against a skilled player it gets tough. That does not mean impossible. I main has up and I know his strengths and weaknesses in a lot of his match ups. For example, against a zed, I know that I will be able to out-trade him levels 1-5 if I dodge his q. After 6, I have to save my dashes for when he ultra and I can't go in confidently in an even fight. Against a zigs, I know that I can windwall his escape or his damage if he trades back. It is a matchup that I have to play aggressively in if I want to win it. Think about the advantages and disadvantages as opposed to making excuses to improve if you arent already is the message today guize Peace
