Did Riot get inspiration from TimeSplitters?

Lemme explain before Lol's false SJWs attack and downvote.

While back during the patch 5.XX times, I made a post about TimeSplitters as a Champion. (http://boards.oce.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-creations/gFxz0YJZ-timesplitter-as-a-champion)

I was abit lit when I made the post [slayer-jinx-wink] [slayer-jinx-wink]

Well time goes by (ALOT of time) and Riot announced the Dark Star skins for Thresh and Varus.

My thought was "Wow, did they look at my post? Or has one of them been a fan of the series?" because those skins have a striking resemblance to the Scourge Splitter

Keep in mind the game is old, so don't say "Oh but Dark Star Thresh/Varus look SOOOO MUCH BETTER" Tbh if I were to import a model from ANY of the TS series and scaled them down to fit this game, the graphics would more or less be the same.

My thought is that Riot could have paid homage to the series/character. (Just a thought) TBH this could all be false and just be a "coincidence". I see it as homage, because of the resemblance. You may see the character (I posted) as trash or lame or stupid or even irrelevant. To each their own.

I'd like to see if it is true though. That would be amazing

Note: I don't own the concept art obviously
