Finally did ranked and well went 4W/6L and got placed in Silver 3 i did play as a support all of them except one I think. Time to see if Gold for me is possible.

If I remember right the highest rank you can get in your placements is Plat 1. But that involves winning all 10 games and doing exceptionally well in all of them.

You can only do that if you were a high rank the last season. The game takes no account on how well you did in your games, only your win-loss ratio.

Gold V is the best I think, but this is before the changes they made to the system.

P1 is the best you can be placed if you have already been playing rank. This is usually reserved for high diamond/master players. Who's mmr is around play after the soft reset

That's if you have been placed before. If it's a fresh 30 and you never been placed then the highest is s1.

I placed Gold IV this season, I'm pretty sure it's based on a combination of how a player did the previous season and how the player did during their placements for the current season. Not sure.

If you have never been ranked before the highest you can be placed is s1. He said first ranked games so I assume he is a fresh 30

well I just never played ranked before been playing since end of season 3 I guess. been playing support alot tho lol.

I went 8-2 on my smurf recently and got Silver 2. My 8 wins were total stomps, and my KDA's were ridiculous in every game like 22/2/16. My 10th game we played 4v5 cause our Taric dc'd. It was vs. Gold elo players, and we still won the 4v5.

This is my main account which is currently Plat 5. I don't think the placement system is very accurate, when a new player to ranked goes 4-6 with a 40% winrate, and is only placed 1 division under my smurf which had an 80% winrate.

When you hear people complaining about Silver being elo hell, it's because this division isn't grouping people of similar skill levels in the same tier. It's putting tens of thousands of people, all of drastically varying skill and knowledge, into the same tier, which causes a cluster of unbalanced games.

That's pretty odd, man. I went 2-8 in placements this season and was also placed in Silver II.

Happened to me. Now I'm in B5 where I belong. ..I played a lot of ranked games that I shouldn't have.

I have some advice for you, don't ever let ever let someone tell you, "You are beyond help", that's what got me where I am. Always seek advice, always ask questions. I wish you the best.
