Congratulations for giving me a Leaver Buster bull shit "type I agree" thing.

I was enjoying an awesome game of ARAM, and then I received a wonderful notification that the riot client was attempting to reconnect me. Suprise, Suprise, it never did. Now I will refrain from playing another match until the client is safe to use again, because of the inexorable amount of money I have spent on this game, and the fact I've never left a game apart from a family emergency back before Season 1.

Now I get slapped with a Leaver tag, which is completely your fault for having a crappy client that doesn't know up from down.

Will wait to play again until the client has been fixed, even if I must wait a year or more. Thanks. -.-

So Congratulations, your system is working as intended, and driving legitimate players from the game.

Edit: I'd also like to note, it was a premade match with a bunch of friends that I was talking with on Teamspeak at the time.

Just to clarify a few points, the first time you leave on an account you will get the "I Agree" notification.

This is a one-time thing per account, and happens regardless of it being a low level game, high level game, a DC or intentional leave. However, this one-time notification has nothing to do with a punishment or the status of your account. It's literally just a notification that leaving/AFKing in League is bad.

If you chronically leave/AFK in games following the notification, it is possible to receive penalties. The notification is just for us to ensure that players know the potential penalties before they chronically leave dozens of matches. After the one-time notification, we do tune the system so that most players who have the rare DC or emergency won't ever see a penalty--only players who leave strings of matches in a frequent pattern will see low priority queue.

Yeah, that happened to me too. And I got that whole guilting message asking me to pledge I wouldn't leave a game again. Like I can understand the system, but they need to find a way to make sure it differentiates between leavers and disconnects.

Yeah, the Leaverbuster system is a Little TOO unforgiving. One of My friends had their internet Provider Screw them over during a match and they've been put in Low Priority Queue. I Personally Vote for a Return to the OLD LeaverBuster.

I understand what Riot is trying to do with the new one, but it's become an Oppressive Beast instead of a Welcome force of Change.

I got the Leaverbuster warning for a game I couldn't even get in to begin with.

Felt pretty bitter being called a leaver and having to pledge stuff for the servers acting up.

I just got the type "I agree" to not leave anymore warning after my internet provider crashed. This Leaver Buster system is flawed and I don't ever leave matches voluntarily.** Riot PLEASE FIX.**

That thing is bullshit. I couldn't connect to a game due to riots shitty client then it says I'm a leaver when I get in 6 mins later. Really irritating having to say I won't leave games that I didn't leave to begin with because riot has a shitty client. Horrible thing to do to players that NEVER leave games. Seriously bad move Riot, frankly I'm disgusted and closed out the game when I saw the message.

So I just got the Leavebuster. Had a dc during loading, which to be fair, I'm not sure if it was the client or my internet (probably my internet). But I spent like the next 10 minutes trying to get back in and restarting my computer. Does it even matter if someone tries to reconnect vs. just leaving the match? I'm marked either way.

Its too unforgiving im all for banning people that afk and rage quit all the time but one game is not enough. The people the system should focus on are the people who leave games all the time. Like people who leave more than 10 or 15 % of their games. People who have one or two leaves shouldnt be affected by this especially since this patch has been forcing people out of games that they cant even control.

So if I didn't want to play league at all tonight I would refuse to hit agree and make riot remove the leaver buster warning or give me all my money back. In fact, I may just not play tonight. Haven't decided yet. Sent support ticket at about 11:15, so it won't be resolved till around 11:15 Wednesday if all my past support tickets are any evidence of the speed riot operates. anyway, to the point. I DON'T WANT TO AGREE NOT TO LEAVE ANY FURTHER GAMES IF I HAVE NEVER LEFT A SINGLE GAME OF LEAGUE SINCE I STARTED PLAYING!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously riot, I have not left a single game that wasn't due to your servers.. Well one time when i first built my desktop I had auto update and restart on, pretty sure we still won that game. "KATARINA IS SOOOOO HARD!!" also, mercy on the riot employee that has to deal with me if I decide not to play league till they remove this warning. I won't be in as good a mood tomorrow after I try to update WoT in a timely fashion.

Similar story.

Client crashed. I tried to reconnect. Client Crashed again. This occurred 3 more times. So I restart everything, and by then the match is over. I got a leaver buster warning. Apparently, I am responsible for Riot's shitty coding.

I just had major lag spikes in a game and then bug splat happened and I got the leaver buster message to type "I Agree". I really do not like this new system. I have only actually left a game once. Also, the repeating bug splat when trying to load into a game is getting real old Rito. Get your stuff together. I spend more money on this free game than any other I own. Act like it.

There has to be a way for leaver buster to check for client lag. Like an unusual amount of summoners disconnecting in a certain time frame or even from a certain game. When both teams are disconnecting and reconnecting, it's obviously on Riot's end.

Can we all treat "League of Legends" as a video game as it is instead of a "voodoo" lifestyle? We might have other so called "less important matters" like funerals than Lol? Is that what Rito is saying? Games first, life second? I say stop, stop using a unnecessary harsh treatment. 5min? I could wait, 10? a little 15, i wouldn't. 20? be forced to quit

Be aware that other players can be under 13 year old(my lol friend) and may have restrictions. Also be aware that other players may have recent or current emergencies. Oh, I get it, get all the players that won't play lol as a video game to leave so YOU can be one of the future Olympic games?

Had this happen to me too. I got disconnected during champ select and couldn't log back in. So not only does riot have an issue with letting you relog once you've been dc from it, they also start games with players who aren't connected to pvp.net. So stupid... Was salty as shit afterwards and I didn't want to sign "I agree".

LeaverBuster is good for a game that is stable. I am sorry to tell you this but RIOT League of Legends is far from stable.

We are talking about a game :

  • Disconnect the players during game play randomly.
  • Close randomly with a nice BugSplat
  • Attempts to connect to the game, enter the black screen and asking us to try again
  • Monstrous lags
  • Disconnects from PVP.Net .

So before talking about someone who disconnects their internet and create a wild system connection , it should ensure that your service is completely bulletproof.

So RIOT, would not it be better to rely on the tribunal as long as you have not done to fix your server.

Also this just makes game fun its already annoying having to wait an hour to get into a game needing to dodge due to people who clearly are going to load in and ruin game, yet I leave when I am fed up having to dodge these players and not get to play then get low priority so now i get to wait 30 minutes to start, 5 minutes to load queue, then another 3-5 minutes just to get into lobby.

Why punish players who hate playing with trolls instead of the trolls them self. That is like passing a law saying no saying the F word then only arresting people when they tell someone else, " you not supposed to say fuck". All it does it piss people off and leave the real trouble makers scott free
