I assume you mean don't buy RP. Well, hate to break it to you, but League of Legends is a product and Riot is a business; certain aspects of F2P games are designed to want you to spend on microtransactions in order for the game to continue. You don't have to buy anything, and nobody is coercing you...but the less people invest the less the game itself will be supported.
