Flag people on their friends lists if they are repeatedly toxic/afk

People are rude on the internet because they don't know the people theyre being rude to and will probably never run into them again.

Why doesn't Riot start broadcasting in someone or flagging people on PVP.NET that someone has been toxic? It could say "LEAVER" or "TOXIC" next to someones name on everyone who is friends with that person in the game client.

I try to stay positive in game, and I've certainly never afk'd from a game on purpose. However, I would be even less likely to sport bad behavior if I thought my real-life friends would be able to look at their friends list and see that I'd been a huge asshole.

The inspiration comes from a real nasty string of playing 4v5 games due to afkers, or people who start raging after they've died two times.

The current system isn't working. Make is apparent who the toxic and the leavers are amongst us and their numbers will thin.

Riot is not in the business of shaming their players. The benefits of this shaming is little to none too.

I disagree, I would definitely think differently about playing with someone who always had "Leaver" or "Toxic" next to their name. It would go away in a couple weeks ya know. I think the rotten apples should be chastised.

I think it would do a lot to control behavior. If it's unacceptable then make it really unacceptable. And I'd never want my real life friends to know I had nerd rage or was a quitter. I think it would tip the scales in favor of those of us that have manners.

Play out a week or so with the flag on you and it goes away.
