I got some money together to invest into a new laptop (or refurbished) and i was wondering if any of you know a decent laptop that has the CPU power to run League and probably CS:GO and many other commonly played games today at a good frame rate, please reply!
i have a laptop from like 3-4 years ago and it was midrange then and it runs league at about 45 on medium high and cs go no problem just dont buy a cheap one because you get what you pay for
If you want a decent computer around $700, I'd suggest looking for sales or open box/display sales for a better deal. When I went looking after Christmas, 7-8 hundred was at the low end of acceptable. I found mine (an Asus with an Intel i5) on sale for around 700 and it's been good enough to play League with Pandora and/or Skype running.
Get a desktop for gaming, and then spend about $400-$500 on a laptop. Gaming laptops are crap. overpriced, clunky, hot, heavy, inefficient, beasts. They do nothing well.
