Not Fair.

Riot please make it so that people in each division can only premake with people from their own division. Just now, I played with somebody who premade with a somebody from the Gold division and there was also somebody from silver on their team when my team were all bronze IV. We totally got completely smacked, and I don't think this is fair!

I would agree with this. I duo Q with some one in bronze and am helping them get out of bronze. they are not good enough to get out of bronze.

Its not fair to everyone who earned silver, anyone we win against, or the bronze player im helping(he thinks he is legit good... he is terribad). Craziest thing though, every time he is about to promote to silver i suddenly have a couple of bad games. coincidence i guess....

I agree, buddies should play together in normals, not ranked :/

there does need to be a limit on the range in which players can play to prevent elo boosting. that said, i think it would be acceptable for say bronze to play with silver and silver to play with gold etc. but not okay for it to be bronze to gold and silver to platinum etc

In normal queue if you are lets say lvl 30 and try to play with a friend who is Brand new to the game you will be unable to join the match simply because they separate you by skill level. The same concept should be applied to the formation of duo queues. Or at least, if a bronze attempts to duo with a gold he should be made to play gold rather than gain an advantage over the other team. This creates other problems as well though.

I disagree with this wholeheartedly, even though I completely understand your frustration. The system works well, even as much as it pisses me off that I'm still stuck in Bronze. Even though my own stats are decent and my KDA is higher than the vast majority of people I play with, I can't compensate for the other 4 players on my team.

However, I recently discovered that I had a lot to learn about the game, even after 4 years of playing it. One tiny change in my gaming style and I've been climbing the Bronze ladder rapidly lately. I'm currently sitting in the series to get into Silver, and I've done that completely through solo-queue. Instead of blaming the system, figure out what you can do to improve yourself and your team.

For me, it was simply realizing that I was really good at playing well individually, but I played a lot of champions that didn't bring much to the team in terms of synergy and abilities. I changed the champions I play in given roles and started focusing on what the entire team needs instead of just what I'm good at. People keep telling others in the lobby to "play what you're best at" but this logic is flawed and that's a big reason that they are stuck in Bronze. Learn champions that have massive teamplay and encourage other people in your lobby to choose the same type.

In short, learn to play Galio. Galio He can save a noob team from losing if you can play him well enough.

I am only lvl 25 but I play a lot of silver draft because my friends are that level. I get where you are coming from but I like to be able to play with them.
