Convert Blue Essence when you own all of the champions

Ever since the Hextech Crafting has been released, I have loved it. It has given players a way of not having to pay to be snazzy with skins and wards. However, I do not like the fact that I receive champion shards. I own every champion right now and have ample IP to buy champions on release, so getting a champion from the looting is a waste of a chest for me. I do not want to sound like a whiner that wants the game to appeal only to me - ( I know other players do not own every champion and look at this as a way of receiving champions ) - but I wish there was something to do with the blue essence you get. Either being able to convert essences at a reduced amount or making an alternate essence purchase method would be nice. It is just disappointing to play 15+ games to get a key and then not be able to use the reward.
