Help me understand ranked!!
So season 5 I lost all my placement games and I got into Bronze 3, this season I won 3 games and lost 7, but this time I got Bronze 5. How does the sistem work now a days!?!?!

Soft reset. Long story short, it was insanely hard to get above where you placed last season. Almost everyone dropped.
It's basically based on who you played against in placements, and what your mmr was last season.. if you lost 7 games to bronze 3/4 people and won 3 games against bronze 5 people, that's where the system says you belong.
i assume last season you started ranked for the first time. if that was so, you started with an mmr of 1200. usually with that mmr you will be placed in silver, but since you lost all your games you were placed bronze 3. This season the system looks at your end of season mmr (not 1200 anymore but less, unless you climbed which i assume you did not). it takes that current mmr and cuts it in half and then adds a preset amount to determine your starting mmr for the season. and then it depends on how many games you win or lose. loosing 7 out of 10 means Bronze 5 even if you were silver last season.
I ended the season with a shit mmr way lower than the tier i was in (silver 5) so even though i won 7 out of my 10 placement games, i was placed into Bronze 4.
