Quick cast with indicators is suppose to act this way?

So I finally managed to discover the quick cast with indicators button while playing. And while the mechanic itself is great, when I see famous LCS YouTubers play when they just quick cast the indicators are not seen, only when they hold and press the cast then you can see the indicators. For me, even if I just tap the Q or any other ability button, I'm always seeing the indicators.. just maybe for half a second but I still see it and it's confusing me Any way to fix it? to make it so that only when I hold the ability's buttons i'll see the indicators?
