The one who framed Yasou. (THEORY)

Alright, this is a theory that I had come up with regarding who killed the Ionian Elder, and unintentionally/intentionally framed Yasou for the murder. (For those who are unfamiliar with the story, regard this http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Yasuo/Background )

Now, most people feel that the culprit is Riven, since it fits perfectly in many ways. The elder was killed in a Noxian attack, Riven was noxian. Riven had participated in several Noxian attacks against Ionia, Riven's ultimate is labeled "Wind Slash" meaning she can use wind. ( For the next part please refer to http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Riven/Background )

If you read it carefully, you'll notice a few things that can hint that Riven was not the killer. For one, it says her true strength which she was recognized for was her conviction. Why does this matter? If you look back to Yasou's background, it states that " Yasuo was the only student in a generation to master the legendary wind technique." What does this mean? It means very little people managed to use Wind Technique. let alone master it. If this is true, Riven would of been recognized for the ability to use/master wind technique, since almost no one else could. However she was not, meaning that most likely, Riven does not know the wind technique.

How does this explain her move sets and names? Simple, in Riven's lore, it states; "High Command recognized her (Riven) with a black stone rune sword forged and enchanted with Noxian sorcery." Meaning it is possible that the Sword's ENCHANTMENTS makes her able to use these moves. Although it is possible that Riven could of simply used the "wind powers" of her blade to kill the elder and make it seem as if it were a wind technique, it seems unlikely due to the fact that she was a Noxian leader, and most likely constantly had troops around her at all times. This matters becuase, although it is not stated, Yasou's Background suggests that the culprit was alone, since the elder was found dead with nothing else behind, no witnesses, no bodies, etc.

If it wasn't Riven, who could it possibly be? My guess is Master Yi.

Ok now before you exit calling this theory stupid, just hear me out, then call it stupid after c;

Master Yi is a master in the wuju fighting technique, however it never states it is the only technique he knows. (Refer to http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Master_Yi/Background )

In Yi's story it states he is a master swordsmen, and in his move set, 3 moves suggest that he knows wind technique. Alpha Strike, where Yi moves so quickly that you can only see a WIND go to each person he strikes, suggesting that he is using some form of wind technique. His Meditation, where he floats in the air, and is surrounded by wind. Lastly his ultimate, Highlander, where he moves so fast the win is surrounding him. Yi clearly knows wind technique, and is likely mixing it into his wuju techniques. How does this prove that Yi is the culprit? In the Project skin tease, ( http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/site/skins-project/#!trace-1 ) The top triangle, which show's prject yi's weapon, there is a smaller white triangle to connecting to that triangle. It will state memory lost, and above that is a number sequence. If you do the same with the bottom triangle, which shows project Yasou, You'll notice the number is the same exact one. This means that Yi and Yasou are connected to each other in some sort of way.

Although I am unsure why Yi would kill the elder, there could of been a number of reasons. In Yi's lore it says that he was in almost every Noxian battle, meaning he was surely in the same battle as Yasou. It also suggests that Yi is very old, and very wise, despite looking young. He might of seen some form of corruptness in the elder, or he could of seen Yasou's potential, only beign unlocked if he is forced from his home. This is all just speculation, and any of it can be wrong. Feel free to argue with/against anything i put! I'd love to hear any theories you may have.
