Why do players that have AFKers not have the right to AFK themselves?

I'm in a team builder game where both the support and ADC of our team are AFK. I think I should have the right to AFK myself instead of watching myself get smashed stomped until 20 minutes. Why has Riot not made a system to handle such cases? I realize it can be easily manipulated, but the stress it causes it crazy, considering queue + champ select + load + wait will 20 takes over 30 minutes to do. If anything Riot should just hire several people to look at the people who are flagged by LeaverBuster immediately and then take steps from there. If they can't build a reliable system to handle AFKers than throw it on manual labor. (srs) I'm already AFKing this match where the ADC is AFK and the support in doing small movements in the base fountain. Thanks, peace out

tl;dr Riot needs to get it's act together and do something about AFKers. After having two people on my team AFK, I also AFK'ed. Waiting till 20 minutes to surrender is like wasting 30 minutes (including queue, champ select, load, ff20)

I realize by AFK'ing that I myself and being (sorta) hypocritical, but I'm really not going to play a 3v5.

what sucks is when you have those games and then get the one guy on your team who is either a troll or has to big an ego and thinks he can carry and wont surrender so your stuck playing for even longer

And you also have to realize half of the "AFK'ers" are probably dc's from shitty riot servers.

I mean as long as you still get the loss I don't see why you should be required to stay.

See teh thing about this is. If someone afk's. And you afk then your just as bad as them. They shouldn't have afk'd in the first place but them afk'ing doesn't give you a right to afk. THeres no real way to fix this issue maybe more punishments the leaver buster system is already extremlly strict. and even leaving for 5mins from a game would get you banned. But the solution your suggesting wont work at all as there no real way to tell which ones the afk'r that should be punished and which person that left because someone else afk'd and this could be extremlly and very easily manipulated/abused.

I suggest you just deal with it play on. if you lose oh well play another game.

It should be if 1 or more players go afk for more than 5 minutes the team should immediately be allowed to vote for surrender
