Wich champ would you buy?

Well yes as the title suggests , im looking for my next champ purchase I have some ip and I figured I would get one of the new heroes that ive been itching to try so far I got a few assasins that I play and like (akali, irelia) also enjoy riven, played leblanc for a while too I don't have many junglers but I suck at it so I try to avoid it , again riven is one as far as casters go I own xerath wich is ok but very squishy though ive mastered skillshotting by using him wich is why I like to use him every now and then for supps I got janna , to a lesser extent swain, kayle, even galio wich I think its fine support just boring to play also for bruisers etc I did xin Zhao for a while but don't play him as much for a while also got poppy shes amazing for tt but don't have very many bruisers or junglers, also lacking a bit on ranged ad carries like vayne or mf and the like so that's one of the things I was thinking about , but anyways I digress just wanted to give a lil background now for the choices I am looking at

Quinn Quinn - she looks fun her kit ok, how is her current state? is she viable? her kit looks fun though her dependency on the somewhat random passive makes me think she might not be that good

Azir Azir - his mechanics look really cool though ive read hes just too easy to get out of range of, and hes pretty useless without his soldiers wich you cant really move around much , though he still looks very interesting

Jinx jinx - top runer up becase I think shes just all around fun and cool, seems very viable though I predict a nerf bat soon , also I got tristana wich sort of feels similar to her so I could wait to buy her later

Velkoz Velcro( vel'koz) - I like ranged casters can you tell? I like this guy , his kit is somewhat skillshoty and his dmg seems to depend on his passive but other than that he seems viable, don't see him like...ever I was wondering about him, viable?

RekSai **rek sai **- the newest champ, seems overall balanced though I predict theres still some nerfs buffs to come so im wary of it, but he looks very fun to play , just dropped today to 6300 so I was wondering

Zed Yasuo **yasuo and zed **- both seem very viable and recommended though I wouldn't want another assassin type champion having 3 or 4 already , if ima buy an assassin id buy one that can jungle too even though I suck at it wich brings me to....

Khazix ka'zix - seems a strong junglers with good late game viability and what seems to be a very versatile kit

Vi Vi - very fun tried her as free but her Q bugs out right now so I haven't had a whole game with her yet, just bot matches and it always bugs and stops casting but she seems very fun to play , good mobile bruiser wich I liked , viable?

those are the top runner ups I guess of the 6k range, figure ill buy one of those then next purchase will probably be ahri but I can save that up quick with leftover from this purchase

also worth mentioning , I got 2 rune pages, one with CDR , Mpen , and some regen another with AD pen, health regen and mresist/armor got some ap runes and quints and such but still in the process of buying some later as I go with that In mind any insight as to wich herou would you buy would most certainly be appreciated. I apologize for the long read but most of the people asking for advice on wich champ to buy don't provide any info as to what they want or like so I figured I wouldn't make the same mistake, also a lil tired and English is not my main language so I apologize for grammatical errors :)

anyways , thanx for reading and thank you for your help !

Out of the ones you listed, I would say Azir if your just looking for someone fun to play. One major thing about him is he is one of the more complex champions mechanically at the moment. So if you don't mind a hard to use champion, He is tons of fun to play.

If you want someone fun to play but is alot easier to learn, Vel'koz is really fun to, He also isn't just a mid laner, but he can be used as a really powerful support in the right hands. He has the CC and base damages to pull it off, and he transitions well into a 2nd AP carry late game. Also alot of his build items are pretty cheap so he can get away with the lower gold income.

Let's face it, your going to end up like we all do... Dropping at least a month's worth of income on this game. You ARE going to buy them all.

Hmm, of those you listed, I would recommend: Vi - Pretty versatile jungler with good ganks, dueling and objective control. She can be build with damage when snowballing, or tanky when even or behind. She is great for dive compositions.

Zed Good AD assassin assuming you know how to play him. Very strong as a duelist and splitpusher in the late game and has a pretty safe laning phase.

RekSai Seems to be a very mobile jungler with strong ganks and burst damage. If you want to get her, I'd recommend waiting until the next patch to see how Riot changes her.

Azir Strong champion with good zoning, battlefield control and DPS. He's weak against mobility and burst damage though, so you have to be careful with his positioning. Also, he's been pretty notorious for bugs recently, so I'm not sure what his current state is.

Velkoz Very high base damages, high burst, high AoE damage, good CC. His main weakness is that he is immobile, squishy, and relies entirely on hitting skillshots. Good champion, but vulnerable to ganks and gapclosers.

Champions I might suggest avoiding at the moment: Khazix Can have a tough time in the new jungle if he doesn't snowball due to the monster camps getting stronger. Also, Riot seems to have changed his abilities (which changes his build and playstyle) several time recently, so he may be subject to more changes in the future if he becomes strong again.

Quinn Can be a good bully, but is generally outperformed by most other AD carries. Can also be used top lane, but I think Vayne and Gnar are probably better picks top at the moment.

Yasuo He pretty good when other champions on your team have knock-ups or knock-backs, but the changes to his shield have made him more vulnerable than before. You can try him if you want, but I would recommend waiting for a free week first to see if you like him.

Try Olaf He is an amazing champ that can solo dragon early and has a slow and his e does constant true damage.

i own all of these except reksai

I'd recommend Quinn if you want an ADC. She is one of the best duelists in the game and really underestimated. Also a lot of people don't know how to play against her so you get an advantage from that as well.

If you want a mid/top laner I recommend Azir . This champion is hands down the most fun I've had playing a video game in awhile. Winning a long duel dancing around your soldiers in lane is probably one of the most satisfying feelings I've ever had in gaming. That feeling when they go in on you and you E behind them, keep autoing, reposition, etc. It's just so good.

going to wait a bit , I wanna see your inputs before I jump the gun , find me ingame if you wanna talk there , anyways ill check back here after a few games

asktiks12/20/2014, 3:11:51 AM1 votes

thanx to all for the input, I got a good idea for my next champ, but final decision went to azir , fun factor swayed me im glad I did, he is really interesting but some matchups just rek him and you cant really lane against an aggressive fiora on top lane...shudders...but ive gotten some decent assists already..

funny moments, enemy team is pushing on mid inhib tower while my team is respawning, I hide outside of base, wait till they are running to entrance, then flash behind enemy team and wall them all into our base , needless to say I died...but so did the enemy team for the most part except that sneaky gnar

funtimes ill probably keep referring to this for my next purchases you all made good suggestions thank u very much

thanx for the replies @ Rykall - yes indeed , I consider the fun factor a lot when choosing a champ, that's one of the main points that I like about azir, don't mind that hes hard, been playing for a while mobas so some challenge is actually welcome :) velkoz does look very fun and hed be right at home since I already have a good set of runes to use with ap casters , but that is the case for azir too since I have cdr runes from old school ( came back recently from dota 2 but ive been playing lol since before dominion )

@ hexp C . - yes! I know brah! done it befor actually lol , got a bunch of skins for old champs , I was playing since before dominion got introduced, ithink I stopped playing shortly after rivens patch / intro , so far I like the changes to the game and a lot of the new heroes , its good to come back, a lot of people don't even remember the old school heroes and what they do, or some of them are good to play again with new items
