Why hello there!

So with all the talk on wether League is dying and many youtubers abandoning ship and whatnot, I started to remember an infographic around the time I joined the League of Legends community (around the Syndra / Kha'Zix patch) that left quite the impression on me, since at the time, I wasn't aware of the popularity of this game. So I kept looking for statistics relevant to more recent years, specifically 2015 or if we have a mid-year graphic for 2016 already, but I found absolutely nothing. Personally, I'd be very interested in seeing what the numbers look like today. To check if there actually was a decline or if it's just another apocalyptic trend, when speculation turns into trolling. What's Riot's stance on this? What is your opinion on this?

I can imagine League reached it's zenith and might even had a slim decline with the hype revolving around the release of Overwatch, but having numbers backing up or debunking claims and rumours would put this question to rest for good.
