Will there be Champion Mastery Rank 8?

Today i got my first rank 7 with Sona, my main from season 4. Now I plan to get the other 130 champions to rank 7. I know 6 and 7 just came out on live, but I was wondering if there were any posts or talk by riot about future champion mastery plans, i would love to see a Rank 8 ^^
