It would be cool if Riot gave little rewards for buying riot points, like there would be milestones and once you reach that milestone, you would get an icon or something, doesn't have to be crazy, just a little though. {{summoner:2}} Riot stop taking all my money.
They have brought this up before. Sadly though its not happening. They did a survey (with both paying customers, and people who havent spend a dime on this game) and came to the conclusion that it would be unfair to people who dont spend money to reward those who do spend money. its pretty idiotic if you ask me, and if anything would just make people get more RP in the long run. Heck it could have been something small like an icon, or skin. They make it seem like it would have some type of advantage if people got something extra for getting RP from time to time!
I think they don't want to encourage any kind of pay vs free elitism. I know it sounds silly, but it's the small things that let it creep in the easiest shrug
