Riot LITERALLY broke over 10% of their champions lore

Ahri Orianna Renekton Nasus Jax Rammus Kayle Zilean Morgana Fiddlesticks Maokai Skarner Alistar Amumu Brand Cho'Gath Lee Sin Malphite Nocturne Xerath

The champions listed above have lore that is DIRECTLY linked to the Institute of War/League of Legends/summoners. Riot would have to go through and completely rewrite all of these champions lore to correlate with the new changes they mentioned today about the removal of said elements from the lore (italicized champions wouldn't need a full re-write but instead would just need to have the references to summoner related lore removed). Not counting italicized champions, Riot would need to re-write 13.3% of the champion lore currently in the game. Is it really worth it to just completely remove theses concepts and the impacts they've had on said champions?

I'll do Nocturne for fun real quick

The Shadow Isles is a place of dark magic, the brave souls from Ionia sought to purify the land long a go. Upon reaching the shore, they glimpsed creatures dashing between the shadows. Pushing farther and deeper into the Isle, the day eked into dusk until darkness had encroached upon them. A cackling from all directions resonated through the camp site following a gust of wind taking with it the last bit of camp fire. Screams of terror as members of the Ionian party disappeared into the forest, taken by a specter. The last few survivors scraped together a torch in time to glimpse the blades of the attacker slick with blood vanish into the overgrowth.

"Do not be caught on the Isles at night, they are guarded by Darkness itself."

Let me do one for them

Orianna was found/invented one day by someone. Now she walks around doing robot stuff because she is a self aware robot. She has a orb, they are friends.

I believe the idiom is 'throwing good money after bad.'
