Everyone in my game feeding/Tower diving

in my last game, EVERYONE in the match was tower diving, more precisely, they wouldnt run away from the full health tower that is targeting them, and sometimes even soloing a full health tower with almost no items and obviously dying without running away... and nobody even talked!

Were these players just REALLY BAD, or were they bots or something (this was a pvp twisted treeline match)? PS: is this the league of legends forum? Im pretty new to this game.
