Leaver Buster after ISP in my area goes out for a few hours
So... Last night (early this morning) I was playing and had no lag what so ever. I get into a game, play around 10-15 minutes, then bam, my internet goes out. I thought it was just my computer acting up so I restarted my computer. Nope. Reset router and my Internet light is Red (means no internet service) and is out. About 10 minutes after trying to get it back up, calling the ISP customer support, nothing happens. Then my Uncle who lives right down the road from me and has the same ISP as me came over to see my dad and tells us his internet is down as well. Which we then continue to find out earlier today that there was an Internet black out in my area for my ISP. This isn't the first time its happened, happened last year but around 4am not around 12am when it happened this time.
After all this I go to get on League today, and poof "You have been targeted by Leaver Buster blah blah blah". Its just the warning. But seeing as how I never leave games out of rage or being upset, if anything only when I'm having seriously bad lag and half the time I just play anyways, I feel like this is unjustified.
How so? Because if at some point my internet goes out, or the servers fuck up, or whatever that is completely out of my control (not considering emergencies cause if those happen fuck League Ima do what I can for the emergency) then I get stuck in the "less priority queue" because of something I had no part in causing.
I feel like League should fix their Leaver Buster to not affect those who dc. And I'm sure someone (if anyone) posts disagreeing will say "Oh that's too complicated to do". No. Just no. All you'll have to do is set it up so Leaver Buster checks the ping of the person who dcs and could tell if its exceptionally high (compared to other games) or if it is, like mine, completely random where their Internet goes out. Then you have the issue of "They just got up and turned their router/modem off", while yes this could happen, all you would have to do is check chat logs to see if they're raging in game, where in you have LB check for keywords or phrases so you can actually pick out the true rage quitters out of the bunch that just has internet issues.
Sorry for the really really long text. This just annoyed me. And thanks if you read and up vote or comment.
