Well, yeah. Game bans aren't the same thing as forum bans. Otherwise, banned players could never discuss their bans with the community, and that would be sad.

there is no point for that anyways? riot doesn't care on your ban! they will tell you that you are shit out of luck and will not lift the ban lmao. so no need to discuss why a person is banned cause nothing productive will come out of it except that riot just made more money by banning someone then keeping them... quite sad...

I've seen more than a few bans get overturned. The boards, however, aren't really intended for that purpose - ban appeals should be handled through Support.

Discussing permabans? No, you're right, there's not usually much benefit there. But permabans are handled the same way as time bans, and I think that discussing those is very important, particularly for the banned party. It gives them an opportunity to understand the hows and whys of their ban, and (hopefully!) learn how to keep from ever getting to that perma-ban state.
