What happens if I leave a game and it is not my fault?

So today, I just started a game and my internet goes out... I called up my provider and they said the internet is out in my whole area and will be out for about six hours. What if this happens multiple times? I cannot help it as Comcast is the only internet in my area. I always test my internet before games but this time.. it just happened randomly with no signs. So say I get banned for this... do you think if I messaged riot they would understand because I literally cant do anything to help it.
