[Idea] QoL client change for everyone, should be an easy one, or at least not impossible.

Gonna preface this with my diary so feel free to skip to the tl;dr;.

Without pointing fingers at whatever the cause may be, servers, routers, firewalls, various ip's and such, I have issues with serious lag in-game. On good days I play around 80-130 or so ping, on bad days I am stuck at anywhere from 800-5000+ ping (which if you haven't guessed, sucks). I never know from day to day what sort of ping I'll have there aren't any external clues as everything else I do online,(other games, watching vids on youtube ect.) don't appear to have the same problem. I am only able to find out when I get into a match, and quite frankly it sucks to suddenly know I've wasted both my teammates' and also my own time by joining a match where I'm absolutely useless because of lag. So thinking about this, why can't we have an in client UI pre-match ping rating(or even "projected") to let us know that today just isn't the day? Just put it in the corner somewhere so others like me can login and just avoid ruining 20-30 minutes for our whole team by checking and comming to the conclusion that "Oh, my ping sucks at the moment, let's not start a match." It will definitely cut down on the raging that I cause as a result of me not being able to control my champ(as this feels terrible on my end).

tl;dr;

I think we could use a Ping test display(that actually reflects what your in-game ping would be, not just the ping for the client) in the client UI before you que in for a match so that players know when not to bother trying and creating what's effectively a 4v5 when lag is spiking for them for whatever reason.

tl;dr, tl;dr;

lag sux, not knowing when your gonna lag sux, not finding out til you're in a match sux(for everyone), add ping test display to client UI plz

Its called creating a custom game, if you create one with only you in it you can leave at any point and the game will just end, will give you an accurate representation of your ping to the game servers :)

I like the idea of having a ping counter on the client, but it may not be accurate due to the fact when you start the game your fps could drop form 200 to 150... and the same for you ping.

You could always go to speedtest.net and choose a server in california, then run the test. Its pretty quick and will tell you about how much ping you will be seeing in game. If you see a different ping then its probably riot's servers being sluggish.

I know you want a quicker way to check this from right inside the client, but this solution sure beats creating a custom game at least.
