They should make a manaless ADC.

Currently there isn't really one. I really enjoy the energy playstyle and would love to see a champion that could use it as an ADC. They could always balance if its too OP.

This is really dumb idea...

They can never balance it. The point of an adc is that eventually, you will run out of mana (or your support (soraka) will run out), thus having to fall back, which then gives your opponents two options: push or also fall back. Having a manaless champion, such as the midlaner using Zed, will allow zed to constantly stay in lane, and win the lane, however bottom lane isn't like taht.

There are three playstyles at the moment. Mana balanced, Energy balanced, and Cooldown balanced. However, the entire point of an ADC is that their skills augment their damage, and are not their damage itself. The majority of damage from an ADC should come from their basic attacks. So, correct budgeting of your mana will allow you to stay in lane until you either get poked down or your opponent backs.

This idea might work... but the thing is they would have to make the ADC have longer cool downs, or they would be WAY too OP. This kind of goes against the point of an ADC, whose ideal play style is hit-and-run. Jinx for example, drinks up mana early game, only by using her W. Well actually, she would be an ideal manaless ADC, if they make her switch have a 4 second cool down. Actually I now realize that most ADC have one ability whose cooldown is pretty low. But, to make them manaless, they would have to nerf even this one ability.

The thing about League with balances it that the champion's late game is always good, op, or terrible. If you select one of the late games, no matter what, it will be either unfair or bad. The only thing holding ADCs back is mana and cooldowns(That is where Bluebuild Ezreal came in.) An ADC with no mana can just build CDR and Damage to be unstoppable. I hope you see what I am saying.

ADCs need to AD Carry.... So, if the champion sucks nobody would use them to carry. On the other hand, If this ADC is decent/good with no mana, it would be OP.

Thanks, Michael

pssst. If you really wanted to try it out, adc Kennen was a thing at a point. It's not now and I can't say in good conscious he's viable, but he is fun to play though.
