The Struggle Silver-Gold

I have been trying to get from silver 5 to gold for about a month now with no surprise I havent been able to make it very far. I have gone up to silver 4 twice and back down once. This is upsetting because I try everything that I can and any carry champion possible but its incredibly hard. My team makes lose match ups they should win and blame me. Just silly things that shouldnt happen or they dont listen when I ping not to chase. It just makes everything 10x harder. I dont know where to go at this point, im getting sick of league because of the stupidity of some people. I just wanted to rant here I guess and see if anyone feels the same way. I stream most of my games if anyone wants to watch and comment. Twitch.tv/SkylerSkrillz mostly on tuesdays,thursday-saturday. Thanks guys

I feel your pains man... No wards, chase for days, and playing like it's deathmatch.. My largest problems with my fellow silver leaguers :/

PLAY ADC AND CARRY YOUR TEAM YOLO

I was once in your situation, and found the key to escaping Silver V (and all the way to Gold honestly), was to regularly play support, especially Sona. Just look at lolking, you'll see she has the highest win rate with highest number of games played.

Have the same problem. It gets really frustrating at times especially since communication is such a key thing in LoL. When you're misunderstood or cant get a point across to teammates, games get tough and frustrating. There is no real solution to this. Only maybe if Riot could start giving LP based on personal stats instead of the team winning as a whole. Like we get this many CS or this many assists as a support we get THIS much LP. IDK. Just hope the system makes this tweaks.

I am in this position myself, currently am in Silver IV but hoping to make gold at some point in the near future. One thing that I have found helpful is to find a reliable duo partner. My last few games I have played ADC while duoing with a friend who plays support. Although we get placed with higher "elo" players because of the duo advantage, we have practiced enough that we can often carry games. It is also a huge advantage to use some form of chat service. (we use ventrilo, many use teamspeak or even skype) Aside from duoing, just continue to get better and remember to NEVER rage at your teammates. If you have a toxic player on your team, simply ignore them and focus on your gameplay.
