Request for a memorial

As some of you may have heard, MagikarpUsedFly's father just passed away. Magikarp has been a huge part of the League community, making videos that are both entertaining and informative for players. He was the first League of Legends Youtuber that I watched. As great as Magikarp is, I think it would be nice if Riot could perhaps give back and maybe create a memorial of some kind. It could be anything as simple as a visual feature in the game (even a temporary one), or it could even be a new item or skin; just something in memory of Magikarp's father. Of course, if Riot is to consider this idea, I do think they should consult Magikarp first and make sure he is ok with that (I don't imagine he would be against it, though). As long as it's not against his wishes, I think it would be a great thing for Riot to do for one of LoL's greatest promoters.

That said, I'm creating this thread to reach out to Riot and allow people to discuss the idea and come up with concepts that Riot may consider. Please be civil and respectful in your responses.

If it's cool with him, I think it'd be a great idea. He's made me laugh a lot, and helped a lot of people out, so it's only right to give back a little in a dark time. One of the great things about the community, to me, is that the majority of the time, we do look out for each other. Sure, there are plenty of trolls and flamers, but there are also some really nice people on here! You've got my upvote. Ziggs

As much as I enjoy his videos, this should not happen. If they did it for him, they would have to do it for every league youtuber when something happens in their life.

I do support this, though billy has a point, only because how iconic he has become to the overall league community. I think if anything a memorial skin or something should be developed, its not unheard of as the jaximus skin has an included ode so to speak to a person that died of brain cancer. I think they should make a skin for magikarps favorite champ that has something to help him remember his father.
