Numbers In Game Chat

So yesterday I was playing just a normal game on summoners rift and everything was normal until I saw something in chat, it was a "3" just a 3, and today I was playing and it said "2" in chat. Has this happened to anybody else and does it mean something?

This happens to me too, in normal and when I'm spectating. So weird!
