Note: this is my first real thread here so I may edit several times to get the formatting right

Mental Razor
Dagger(400) + Null-Magic Mantle(400) + 300 gold = 1100 gold
12% AS
25 MR
Unique Passive - Mind Cut:
Basic attacks deal 21 bonus magic damage on hit.
Passive needs to be worth 200g to be gold-efficient.

Wit's End
Mental Razor(1100) + Recurve Bow(900) + 400 gold = 2400 gold
42% AS
25 MR
Unique Passive - Mind Cut:
Basic attacks deal 42 bonus magic damage on hit.
Unique Passive:
Basic attacks increase your magic resistance by 5 for 5 seconds and reduce the target's magic resistance by 5 on hit (stacks up to 5 times).
Nothing's changed stat or gold wise so gold-efficiency is same as live.

An idea was brought to my attention:

How about Stinger + NMM? Just tack on 10% CDR and call it a day.

And further refined by

Stinger + Mental Razor + 350 gold = Wits End with 10% CDR and 10% more AS?

So I'll do my spin on it:

Mental Razor
Dagger(400) + Null-Magic Mantle(400) + 400 gold = 1200 gold
15% AS
25 MR
Unique Passive - Mind Cut:
Basic attacks deal 21 bonus magic damage on hit.
Passive needs to be worth 200g to be gold-efficient.

Wit's End
Mental Razor(1200) + Stinger(1250) + 250 gold = 2700 gold
55% AS
25 MR
Unique Passive: 10% Cooldown Reduction
Unique Passive - Mind Cut:
Basic attacks deal 42 bonus magic damage on hit.
Unique Passive:
Basic attacks increase your magic resistance by 5 for 5 seconds and reduce the target's magic resistance by 5 on hit (stacks up to 5 times).
At 0 stacks, the onhit and MR steal needs to be worth at least 45 gold to be gold-efficient
At 5 stacks, it's gold-efficient by 455 gold
Keep in mind, Stinger is extremely gold-efficient by itself, making it's derivatives inherently gold-efficient as well.

My biggest gripe with Wit's End is that you have to fully build it to get any damage out of it.
This means that it's basically only viable on champions who already have an onhit effect and thus AS means more damage for them.

Asking any other champion to dump 2.4k gold into an item to get any damage out of it, when onhit is kind of the point of the item, is a bit too much.
On any champ, I usually build NMM and Dagger and wait to have 1.6k gold to buy it, since Recurve bow is a lackluster item compared to anything else I could buy for that amount of gold. Dagger is cheap so it's not a big deal, but 900 gold isn't really chump change.

This doesn't change Wit's End at all (it's final iteration, i mean), but makes the build path simpler and more straight-forward.

Thoughts?

It's kind of a niche item as it is. But for some champs, Attack Speed is useful (Shyvana's Q cooldown scales with Attack Speed to an extent.) It would be nice to have a midway item like item 3191 to item 3157. I rarely build item 3022 because of that reason, even though item 1011 is still a nice item to build up to item 3022.

i like this idea i just feel you should maybe bump up the MR some for each item, say Mental Razor could have 30 when built and then Wit's End could have 30 or 35
