Chat Ristriction/Ranked

Hi all! So getting right to the point. I have received a 10 day chat-restriction for rippin' on baddies... lmao. Believe it or not I am not really upset; on the contrary I'm kind of happy for multiple reasons. First, I play better when I don't type, but that's true for most players. Second, I raged a lot and would frequently report people who did as well saying in the report that Riot won't do anything anyways because they are (explicit added here); so to see that I finally got punished is actually reassuring that they do punish people. But why I'm really here is this... believe it or not, the games where I rage I still tend to win, mostly because I am carrying and rage because my team isn't helping. The real problems are people who go afk, rage in pre-game chat, and who don't respect pick order (locking in whatever they want, without even asking for the roll, which I would gladly give cuz I can play multiple champs in all rolls). These people are the quiet instigators that make people rage in the first place. I am very competitive in nature, so seeing people trying to lose for whatever reason makes me very upset. I think there needs to be just as much of a strong repercussion for players who ruin games, for other, as there are for people who flame (aka myself, again not justifying my actions). On a totally different note, can we have something more than being lvl 30 with some champs to play ranked? I recently got out of bronze and had to carry myself out. I know people in there that are better than most of my gold friends, but they can't win with people who don't know that relic shield shares minion gold (this actually happened in one of my games). Maybe having a certain amount of completed normals so at least they can show they have enough experience to play ranked. I know I wasn't ready when I first started playing ranked, and looking back I wish I had waited cuz I messed a lot of people up, thinking I was playing correctly. I think this may help decrease some of the rage problems (though I agree there will always be ragers). Just voicing my opinion. lmk what you guys think!

Going into ranked early isn't a problem. It just shows that you need more to learn. Playing a lot of unranked games won't mean much, as people tend to not try as much there.

I think the problem is not about how hard you try, it's just having the playing experience. Agreed normals is more laid back, but sometimes I see more try-hards in normals than ranked (sadly), which is not a bad thing (as I always try hard in everything I do). In general, people do not like losing, and if those people are truly playing for fun, don't you think that (if a certain amount of games were needed) they would know more going into a ranked if they were forced to play 50 or 100 normals first. Whether or not they try is not as significant as them learning through repetition. BUT League of Legends is by no means an easy game, so I'm not saying 100 normals makes you good, it just prepares you better in my opinion.
