A rant about cheaters.

Earlier tonight my friend and I were playing normal drafts and frankly were having a great time. I was playing Fizz for the first time and he was his main support, Braum. He and i were doing a lot of the heavy lifting in team fights and it looked like he and I were going to pull back what had initially looked like a loss. Then things turned for the worst. I was the farthest forward and only moments before all five enemies burst onto my screen both Braum and I lost the ability to move. I could only watch as my character was practically ripped limb from limb before the dreaded "attempting to reconnect" appeared, mind you I have excellent internet and aside from an occasional ping spike never have connection issues.

So after waiting a short while I force quit the game to reconnect from the client. After repeated failures I force quit the client too. Upon reopening the launcher I found it to be a blank white and was unable to connect to the pvp servers. I couldn't even reach the service page on league's website to see if it was just us or everyone. Finally we got back in, after the match had ended.

Luckily we were not penalized for being disconnected, but I am confident we were victims of a drop hack as the circumstances were simply too unusual and the timing was so convenient. After some sleuthing by my friend and I we feel confident about who did it, but lack the means (and frankly concrete evidence) to report it, and that's what frusterates me. You can cheat, script, or hack this game and we have little power to retaliate. So instead I'll give a warning.

If you see drallore on the enemy team, and do too well, prepare to be forcefully disconnected.
