overwatch destroyed League of Legends

Hi I just wanted to create a topic to discuss at. Didn't you guys notice that players are quitting league more than usual ? And thus from Overwatch's release. And what I have noticed is that most of the players who are quitting the game are the old ones and of course the good ones. I mean, they were quitting long ago and the first famous player I saw, was Legend of gamer if you know him. He began during the S2 and stopped at the S5 after a game with trollers or flamers. You can see his video if it is still uploaded. Even Sky Williams is criticizing the game more and more. Is League of Legends really that bad these past few months or is it just that players are having sick from it ? And can League of Legends continue its journey or will it end soon after 6 years of success ? Even I am feeling bad about this game since a couple of patches with some unreasonnable buffs and nerfs, and even some of my IRL freinds are quitting, wich makes me feel uneasy about it. What do you think guys ? I really want to abord this topic.

Overwatch cannot be compared to League in anyway. It's an FPS, League is a MOBA. Just stop saying that one is better then the other or is ruing the other. They are so far apart for anything that can bring them together that all these topics are hilarious.

Well what to tell... Overwatch is somethin new. Something good. Something Blizzards... Its not that the game destroyed league. Riot did it himself. Bad politics. Wrong direction of changes. Crappy balance of game, where season to season is like pick to win. Bad changes without thinking about consequences (Look irelia with 3force...) VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY SLOOOOOOOOOW BALANCE PATCHES. It should be nerfed/buffed every week but we wait for this like months. Why you dont nerf champions as per pick/ban ratio? Why you base on LCS and highest Diam plays? Is this game for people or for E-sportsmen? Who makes this game? A regular John Smith or LCS players? Without regular Smiths this game does not exist. Riot must understand that their product is gettin older, and noone want old product what is rotten inside.

I am not even talking about toxicity ingame. Well.. The game created toxic community that spread upon whole world and we cannot stop it. You can ban, but you wont help it. It just happened and will be forever and ever. Even in other products like Overwatch, CSGO, some MMOs league players are flaming and are infecting other people to flame. This is like sickness without a cure.

League is getting old, Riot is not making it funnier to play. I play since beta and saw almost all changes. Do you know when I had best fun? When your teamfights looked like FULL FOCUS on one enemy member otherwise he escaped. Not like now, when you are dying coz AOE FARTS came to you and you dont even know how and when... DMG output is hilarious. Its so stupid that even building full tank you still are able to kill Squishy carry. This is bad, so bad.

Yesterday I bought Overwatch, I am happy of this decision. I wont back to league till the situation will improve.

Riot's own game is making people leave; recent patches have been upsetting.

That said, one game genre is not going to drag players away from another.
