Better Community Improvement System(s)
It would seem that a "tribunal" type system of punishment has proven itself to be ineffective. League of Legends has quite a reputation for having one of the worst communities in any online game. It is completely typical (even expected) to have at least one or two people constantly insulting and flaming in every game played. The game has even reached a point where strategies for dealing with angry teammates are just as important (or even more important) for victory than any actual game-play itself!
Supposedly, the tribunal system is supposed to deal with these toxic players, and "improve their behavior". If that were the case, then why is it completely normal to see a toxic player in every game? Why is it that more than one out of five league of legends players is a toxic player, if the system is actually having any kind of effect? The first step is to admit that the current system simply is not working. The idea of giving honor to improve behavior was a good start, but since that has faded it seems no real attempts to improve the community have been made.
From just one player who wants to see a real community emerge from League of Legends, I beg that Riot (the creators of the most popular online game in the world!) invest some of their money into a more effective system to improve the community, and make the game more enjoyable for everyone.
